Villa Belle Etoile (AMS) Close to Lorient's shops and beach in Camaruche, this charming villa sits in a very convenient location. Sunset, the greatest show on Earth can be viewed from the covered dining area in the courtyard surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The wooden deck is constructed around palm trees and other tropical plants that provide areas of shade where guests can sit or nap in a hammock as they are caressed by gentle ocean breezes. The original plunge pool adorns the center of the outside area, and a second smaller pool has been added that extends into the view.
The villa is perfect for families and couples sharing a villa. Children will find the friendly family of Iguanas fascinating. They make an appearance every morning.
Villa AMS offers tropical island appointments and magnificent views. It is one of the better price/quality deals on the island. That is, in part, due to the home being close to the Camaruche road and the sound of occasional passing cars.

Rooms, Outdoor Spaces & Features
Bedroom One
The bedrooms are equal in size and are located in adjoining, but separate bungalows. Bedroom #1 is air conditioned, has modern decor, is furnished with a queen size bed, and has an en suite indoor bath with outdoor access. The large, charming master bedroom door opens onto the view of Lorient Bay and the pool. Window views of the bay can also be enjoyed from pillow on the comfortable bed.
Bedroom Two
Bedroom Two in the cottage next door is air conditioned, is more traditional with far eastern touches. Furnished with a 4-post king size bed, the comfortable bedroom has an en suite bath, and opens onto the pool. The bedroom can be closed at night, and there are no windows to the view.
Kitchen
The kitchen is small. Designed in the traditional island style, it opens onto an outdoor dining area. Amenities include a coffee maker, dishwasher, gas range, microwave oven, and toaster. The range does not have an oven. Nonetheless, meals can be prepared while enjoying the magnificent views of the Bay of Lorient and the neighboring islands.
Living Room
The blue and yellow decor of the bright and airy open living area is complemented by dark wood furniture. The room is also equipped with a CD player.
Terrace
Shaded and sunny terraces are perfect for relaxing in a hammock or on a chaise lounge.
