St Barts Villas in Pointe Milou

Pointe Milou is a promontory on the northwest coast with some of the best sunset views on St Barts. Villas here sit high above the water, with infinity pools and terraces looking out over the ocean.

The breezes keep the area cool year-round, and the elevated position means you get uninterrupted sea views from most properties.

The Setting

Pointe Milou juts out into the ocean on the northwest coast. Most properties sit on the cliffs overlooking the water. There's no beach here, but the views more than make up for it. You're looking out over the Caribbean, with nothing between you and the horizon.

The wind is steady, which keeps mosquitoes away and makes the heat more bearable. Some villas have outdoor showers and dining areas that take full advantage of the breeze.

Sunset Watching

This is why people come to Pointe Milou. The sun sets directly over the water from most villas. Ti St. Barth, the clifftop restaurant, has built its reputation partly on the view. Get there before 6pm if you want a table.

Restaurants

Ti St. Barth is the main spot, known for live music and dancing after dinner. It gets busy during high season. Le Ti Maquis is smaller and quieter, with solid French food and a similar view.

For everything else, you'll drive to St. Jean (10 minutes) or Gustavia (15 minutes).

Getting Around

Pointe Milou is 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to St. Jean, and 15 minutes to Gustavia. The roads are narrow and winding in places. You'll need a car.

The Villas

We handle 50 villas in Pointe Milou. Most are modern builds with open floor plans, lots of glass, and pools that seem to drop off into the ocean. Sizes range from two bedrooms to large estates. Almost all have spectacular views.

Villas book up early for sunset months (roughly November through March). Prices tend to be higher than areas without ocean views.

Best For

Pointe Milou works well for couples and adults who prioritize views over beach access. The setting is dramatic and private. Not ideal if you have small children who want to spend all day in the sand, but perfect if you're happy by the pool with an ocean view.
