Climate

The elevation brings a noticeable temperature difference. It's cooler than sea level, with steady breezes that make it comfortable even in summer. Clouds sometimes sit at this elevation, giving you a different microclimate than down on the coast.

Views

Panoramic views are the main selling point. You can see Grand Cul de Sac, St. Jean, and other areas from up here. Sunrises and sunsets both work depending on which side of the hill you're on.

Privacy

Vitet is quiet and isolated. Properties are spread out with land between them. You won't have neighbors close by. The drive up and down the hills keeps casual traffic to a minimum.

Getting Around

Vitet is 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to St. Jean, 15 minutes to Gustavia. The roads wind steeply up the hillsides. Driving at night requires attention since the roads are narrow and unlit.

Vitet works for people who prioritize views and privacy over beach access. Good for groups or families who are happy at the villa and don't mind driving to beaches and restaurants. Less ideal if you want to walk to things or if you prefer to be at sea level near the water.
